Smoke, stormy potential kicks off work week in southern Ontario
Low-level smoke and a thunderstorm risk are going to move into southern Ontario Monday to kick off the work week
Air quality will once again be deteriorating across southern Ontario as we head into the work week. Low-level smoke from wildfires will keep the air quality hovering at a medium risk throughout the week.
As the weekend ends with localised thunderstorms, some reaching severe, the work week may also be off to a stormy start for many in southern Ontario.

Monday
Areas: Southern Ontario
Timing: Afternoon and evening hours
Weather: There is a continued possibility of some non-severe thunderstorms in through the eastern parts of southern Ontario Monday afternoon.
It is thanks to a cold front, which is moving into southern Ontario. With that daytime heating, the front will help produce those thunderstorms, which will be scattered in nature.
Temperatures are expected to be similar to Sunday's. With the humidity, it is going to continue to feel a lot more like the low 30s, sticking with that warm, muggy feeling.
