Chris Murphy is an on-air meteorologist who’s been working at The Weather Network since 1999. Chris also does the weather for CBC News Network’s morning show starring Heather Hiscox. Career highlights include on-location reports across Canada from flooding in Manitoba, snow squalls in Ontario, reporting in Nova Scotia during Hurricane Dorian, and the blizzard of all blizzards in St. John’s, NL. Chris earned his meteorological certification from Mississippi State University. A grueling three year online program he took while working full-time. Giving people valuable weather information, whether in their homes via TV or on their cell phones, is an honour and privilege he never takes for granted. Come for the weather, stay for the humour.
